Shravan is a son of a rickshaw puller and Mugdha, daughter of a Railway officer. He has lived in penury while she has had all the material comforts. He dreams of being a soldier and serving the motherland while she lives in the world of colours. Childhood friendship converts into pure love ignoring the boundaries of a bungalow and its servant quarter. However fate has some other plans and tears apart the two innocent souls, throwing Shravan into a life that has thorns all its way. Will the two live their dreams? Will destiny bring them together again? A novel that will make us believe that life is all about never giving up.¬
My Views:
This book is about Shravan and mugdha’s love story which differ in their financial repute under the clutches of so called destiny. Did they have a happy ending of their love story is what the book is all about with the added flavour of IMA (Indian Military Academy) being the background is the only point to look in the entire story. Many snippets in the story forces me to comment the book is onto the essence of filmy style.Special mention to the characters Jhanvi & Mugdha. Full marks to the author who profoundly carried the emotion and romance throughout the treatise. The title of every chapter perfectly fits the content of the respective chunks
One of the best cover pictures which I came across in recent times. Dissatisfied with the font of the book, which made my reading experience bad and delay in completion. This book also needs a strict re-edit.Lot of punctuation’s and spelling mistakes lowers the spirit of the book. Overall “A New Dawn – Kamini Kusum” a 3/5 strict onetime read, carries decent narration, predictive plot, filmy style replica, fair vocabulary and bad story-line.
“Life is all about never giving up”
