My Views:
This book reminds me of the well known fact that says “It’s All about the Journey, Not the Destination“, Taara a woman in her thirties, with a series of heartbreaks from bad relationships quits her job, though her marriage is on the cards,she decides to go on a trip to discover herself while exploring the beautiful cities of Europe.
The book is fast paced from page one and gears up further to bring in the travel mood to the reader. This book rightly fits into the genre of “Travelogue with a dash of contemporary fiction”, I love the narrative style of the Author, as every line that describes those places takes you virtually on a tour along with the protagonist Taara.
Though there are cinematic resemblances it does not hinder the mood of the reader in any way. Overall it’s a good read and can be a travel guide for people to refer while travelling to those places.
I personally rate “Table for One – Neha Bindal” a 4/5 with a equal composition of thrill, emotions, broken heart, travelogue and engaging content.
PS: This book is so exciting that it has made me to resolute, of planning an overseas travel once a year….either solo or as an adventurous one.
