One lazy weekend while I was scrolling through my Facebook news feed one of the posts grabbed my attention. Let me introduce what I am trying to convey.
Samast: Samast means All in Hindi.
Written in a mix of simple Hindi and Urdu (with equivalent English poems in translation), the poetic works breathing inside the covers of this book talk about all the important aspects of life such as romance, separation, relationships, religion, society, experiences, self-worth, etc. Standing at the junction of three worlds i.e. The world that lives inside us, the world we live in and the world we want to create, “Samast” aims at describing and touching some of the pivotal moments a person experiences in his life.
About Author
Mr. Sharans Kabra born and raised in Kolkata, an Engineering graduate from IIT Dhanbad, founding member of a Mumbai based food-tech start-up and have been part of various other value creating Start-ups. He is binding beads of “emotions” and “real life experiences” into poetic necklaces for last 8 years.
Why Samast ?
Samast will thus be providing additional financial support to needy ones. The major chunk of royalty earned by the sales of Samast, will go to suitable charitable organizations. If you as a person want to contribute to this decision of the author, do refer some good NGOs (like Kartavya.org) that work towards education and welfare of children. If not Samast, let’s reach as many of them as possible!
