Though I bugged him with many questions, Kevin was patience enough to answer every question in detail, to acknowledge his reader fans:
Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
I’m 22 years old and I’m a graduate of History hon. From St Stephens College. I studied in Faith academy. I have been writing for the last 8 years and reading for last 10.
Why do you write? What keeps you motivated?
The thrill of creating a scene, a moment, a twist, a character that keeps me motivated !
Do you believe in writer’s block? How did you choose the genre you write in?
I do believe in writers block and the reason I chose mythology, it’s because it’s the closest to a fantasy genre and I love fantasy.
Whats your take on book piracy ?
Sucks for writers but readers enjoy it.
Whats your favorite genre? why ?
Fantasy. It’s an escapist fiction!
There is a myth duology, triology and (n)ology may not work in literature, what you feel ?
Actually they do more than I thought they would. Many publishers look for a series and I’m cool with it since we live in a serialized format world and movies are going down and stand-alone Especially mythology aren’t selling that much unless you are a popular writer. No matter how much a writer hates being thrown off a cliff in the end, they seek to see what happens in the end.
How many hours a day to you devote to writing? Do you have any writing rituals?
Nope I don’t. I write as I like to. On a good day, it takes a huge chunk of my life.
Do your take extra care while considering a book cover ?
Of course. It’s the face of your book.
Is is really needed to get book cover designed?
Of course, otherwise your face would look ugly.
Does a bad review affect your writing?
Not at all. It does teach me to be better though.
Who motivated you in becoming an author ?
It was just pure idea of escapism that thrilled me.
What is more important according to you : characters or plot?
Character
One message to readers and budding authors ?
Read a lot.
How did your journey towards writing novels begin?
I read a chapter of Oliver Twist in my English textbook.
Share something about yourself which is so unique?
I write like super fast. I write 15K words in a day on a good day.!!
Do you have any special message to your book readers ?
I love you 🙂
Your favorite under-appreciated novel?
Yama
Where is one place you want to visit that you haven’t been before?

If you wish to bring one of your book characters, who it would be and why ?
Arjan
