Onyeka Nwelue is a Nigerian filmmaker, publisher, talk-show host, author, founder of the James Currey Society, and an academic visitor at the African Studies, University of Oxford.
He was also a Visiting Scholar at the Centre of African Studies at the University of Cambridge.
His crime novel, The Strangers of Braamfontein, won the 2021 ANA Prize for Fiction and Best Indie Novel at The Crime Fiction Lover Awards in 2021.
