One of the good books which I came across in recent times,
this book is divided into three parts:

1. PROACTIVE HEALTH MANAGEMENT
2. ART OF LIVING THROUGH STRESS ELIMINATION AT SOURCE
3. HOLISTIC APPROACH.

Author is successful in covering almost every health topic in detail (physical & mental). People who are fitness freaks, who are working out towards a healthy life and people who find excuses to be fit, this is the best book. Irrespective of any genre favorites, this book is must kept in every family. Being an IT employee who majorly find excuses to be fit and to live a stress free life, this book beautifully tabulated every granular lever details can be referred anytime.
I made my own diet sheet aligning the book recommendations from first part. Not to miss highlighting the weight management chapter which talks in detail. Inline with the formula “Dealing with stress is simple, just stay cool and stay focused”, the part two completely focus on life elements like stress, anger, jealous, worry and so on. The last part describes two important techniques of stress management viz. Yogasana’s & Hypnosis, ends with life style factor details.

My Review:
Overall I rate “The Science and Art of Holistic Living” by Vyankatesh Katkar as 3.75/5.
Book cover is quite well with a joyful girl face, detailed chapters and tabular columns will never make your reading journey bore and a good read. This book also serves as a reference manual for general ailments and respective remedies.

Suggestion For Readers:
A must read book. A family health guide and good gift article.
